Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zvonimir Turković showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. Patas Duras FC's Rodrigo Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Patas Duras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Rodrigo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patas Duras FC's Rodrigo Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino.

After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erubiel Palben during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Patas Duras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Palben didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Patas Duras FC's Mateo Poz was substituted for Erubiel Palben. Patas Duras FC's Rodrigo Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Patas Duras FC from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rodrigo Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Patas Duras FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
