In the 9th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larra Briz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, C.S.D Punta Ballena's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Cambeiro came free, but Larra Briz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Alguacil scored 0-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Larra Briz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 42 minutes of play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. With a left leg Larra Briz saved C.S.D Punta Ballena from getting behind. 47 minutes into the game, Alex Cambeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Larra Briz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Panama were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felipe Ros made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.S.D Punta Ballena's Cesario Olivos. Dylan Sarmiento got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tomas Berganza. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Larra Briz made a huge save. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Larra Briz came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Berganza slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 65th minute. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Baudelio Valls managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jose Carita in the 71 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Jose Carita in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.S.D Punta Ballena's Leo Busvidad. Larra Briz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 73rd minute of play. When Miguel Vizcaya fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.S.D Punta Ballena's protests and gave Miguel Vizcaya a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larra Briz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Larra Briz got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper Larra Briz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. With splendid footwork Tomas Berganza arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-9 by the left pole in the game's 88th minute. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Larra Briz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save C.S.D Punta Ballena from getting a goal against them. C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alex Cambeiro 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-10. Panama played a much better game than C.S.D Punta Ballena and deserved their victory. The C.S.D Punta Ballena players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
