In the 11th match minute, SvE United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nasko Shatov to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitko Kozlov in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Tzvetoslav Desov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hristo Stoichkov's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tzvetoslav Desov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute of the match Jonny Kleen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Pliego showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matey Balabanov in the 23rd minute of the match. Tzvetoslav Desov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 33rd minute of play forced SvE United's goalkeeper Tzvetoslav Desov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 35 in the game by Mariano Lacasa from a close distance when the talented Tzvetoslav Desov managed to make a qualified save. SvE United's players were relieved. After 43 played minutes SvE United got a freekick which was hit by Denis Stracqualursi. Chile's Mariano Lacasa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tzvetoslav Desov but with some difficulty. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitko Kozlov, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Tzvetoslav Desov. SvE United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rigoberto Deunoro's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Deunoro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SvE United getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Rigoberto Deunoro hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Tzvetoslav Desov. SvE United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Chile's Francisco Carballar got a free kick in the 59th minute. The long shot by Jonny Kleen in the 60th minute really tested Thiago Pliego's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Horymír Adámek charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Hristo Stoichkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Denis Stracqualursi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SvE United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Denis Stracqualursi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Mariano Lacasa placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 84th match minute, SvE United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tzvetoslav Desov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego stood somewhat misplaced when Jonny Kleen came free in front of goal and shot 4-1 to the left of him in the 90 minute. Mariano Lacasa scored 5-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tzvetoslav Desov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 97 minutes into the game, Matey Balabanov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SvE United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
