Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peter Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Bantayan BK booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herman Clementsson. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Glanselius having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Bantayan BK's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Alcocer came free, but Peter Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Herman Clementsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herman Clementsson in the 19th minute. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Glanselius was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Axel Tasis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Glanselius. Bantayan BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Tasis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Martin Brenner hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Glanselius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martin Brenner's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Brenner helped the player get up and apologised. 39 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Glanselius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 46 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herman Clementsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Herman Clementsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bantayan BK's attentive John Dalman managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Bantayan BK's John Dalman got a free kick in the 56th minute. Peter Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 63rd minute of the match. The long shot by Lautaro Puig in the 64th minute really tested Peter Glanselius's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 65 played minutes Bantayan BK got a freekick which was hit by Karl Friberger. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Peter Glanselius but with some difficulty. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Glanselius having to interfere. Efrain Moruga's shot from long distance in the 74th minute was not bad at all, but Bantayan BK's Peter Glanselius knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Peter Glanselius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Bantayan BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Dalman to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Peter Glanselius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Peter Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 91 minutes Bantayan BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Tasis who took care of the corner kick. After 91 played minutes Bantayan BK got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Sandström. Costa Rica played a much better game than Bantayan BK and deserved their victory. The Bantayan BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
