After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 钱梁广 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Prasert Genius booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prasert Genius's 林威泉 got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 16 minutes of play, Prasert Genius's 叶镇桑 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute 钱梁广 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Prasert Genius's 陈傲轩 got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 33 played minutes, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 龙云战 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa Rica reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, 宋冰桦 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prasert Genius's supporters rose to their feet, but 宋冰桦 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 武霆潮 took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 44th minute, 叶镇桑 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 钱梁广 made a kick off. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when 钱梁广 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 1-5. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 武霆潮, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 武霆潮, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Prasert Genius booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 钱梁广 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Lautaro Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龙云战 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 武霆潮 in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when 武霆潮 came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 龙云战 having to interfere. Eliseo Noboa scored 2-5 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 龙云战, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 龙云战 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Lautaro Puig off the ground. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when 钱梁广 got free with Benito Sanz in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Prasert Genius were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
