Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gomez Urrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 3rd minute of play. Hector Santiago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. A throw-in in the 12th minute of the game was made by Alfredo Karmel with Suscal Calleja as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gomez Urrea saved Porvenir from getting behind. Gomez Urrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arvo Joa hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The supporters of Colombia booed when Porvenir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urko Villaluenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Porvenir's Gomez Urrea. Gomez Urrea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Colombia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Hector Santiago made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guerrero Onterino in the 54th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Orlando Tafalla hit a great ball. Urko Villaluenga, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Porvenir's goalkeeper Gomez Urrea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Mastache. After 62 minutes of play, Porvenir's Ettore Ricci made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arvo Joa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Camacho Molledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Camacho Molledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Porvenir fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Porvenir's Arvo Joa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Santiago in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. 84 minutes into the game, Hector Santiago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Hector Santiago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvo Joa in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Arvo Joa came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
