Piast Leszczyny's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ryszard Golaszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koby Wright in the 13th minute of the match. Koby Wright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryszard Golaszewski having to interfere. Jax Williamson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominik Barowicz in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Koby Wright in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ryszard Golaszewski saved Piast Leszczyny from getting behind. In the 26thth minute of the game Koby Wright who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piast Leszczyny's Ryszard Golaszewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Canada got a corner. Piast Leszczyny's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Koby Wright ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 28th minute Rohan Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Golaszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominik Barowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After the first half Canada were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koby Wright to make the kick off. Piast Leszczyny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canada the free kick. Piast Leszczyny made a substitution. Aureliusz Tylenda replaced Krzysztof Gizynski. In the 87th minute, Dominik Barowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jax Williamson came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Piast Leszczyny's Aureliusz Tylenda. But to his dismay, Aureliusz Tylenda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the match was over Canada could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Piast Leszczyny throughout the match.
