Johnni Kirkskov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, BK Skjold's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Johnni Kirkskov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnni Kirkskov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johnni Kirkskov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Joaquin Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Moises Gayoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Lars-Erik Angvik in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Julian Murillo scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnni Kirkskov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johnni Kirkskov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Julian Murillo made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. BK Skjold's Johnni Kirkskov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute of the game Nicko Vadmann made a throw-in which Lars-Erik Angvik played forward. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Skjold's goalkeeper Johnni Kirkskov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, BK Skjold's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Johnni Kirkskov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Eduino struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Skjold. With an all-out effort, Peru's Johnni Kirkskov threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 76 minutes BK Skjold's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Milagros Fraga kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lars-Erik Angvik, made in the 81st minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, BK Skjold's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Johnni Kirkskov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, BK Skjold's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Johnni Kirkskov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Jose Eduino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genaro Procopio went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score.
