Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 45thth minute of the game Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute Esteban Ikatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Veronica having to interfere. Esteban Ikatz might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteban Ikatz ran back to his position shaking his head. Inocencio Veronica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Escribano's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Ross Strong charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ross Strong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Ross Strong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. 69 minutes into the game, Esteban Ikatz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. Esteban Ikatz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Rafaela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ross Strong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio scored 0-6 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteban Ikatz in the 77th minute. Inocencio Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio sent off a good shot on target. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Ikatz in the 93rd minute of play. Esteban Ikatz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 95th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Veronica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Uruguay supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rafaela FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rafaela FC.
