Eusébio Angelsø took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of play forced Giovana F C's goalkeeper Gian Weidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matías Antunes made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jorginho Zanette however managed to control. In the 23rd match minute, Giovana F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustin Teodor to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bordat Vidania was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Eusébio Angelsø ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Gian Weidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Eusébio Angelsø kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Giovana F C's Gian Weidt got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gian Weidt having to interfere. Gian Weidt made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Rafael Gallo sent off a good shot on target. Giovana F C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
