Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Josué Campelo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Idalécio Carrasqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 5th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belchior Ribeiro in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 27th minute of play forced SC Atabueira's goalkeeper Idalécio Carrasqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Idalécio Carrasqueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Orlando Casaus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belchior Ribeiro in the 32nd minute. Idalécio Carrasqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Josué Campelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. After 39 played minutes SC Atabueira got a freekick which was hit by Claudemiro Roriz. After 40 minutes of play, Chile's Orlando Casaus made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Idalécio Carrasqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Idalécio Carrasqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Chile were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Fontirroig got free with Idalécio Carrasqueira in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Josué Campelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. After 67 played minutes SC Atabueira got a freekick which was hit by Claudemiro Roriz. In the 69th match minute, SC Atabueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudemiro Roriz to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, SC Atabueira's goalkeeper Idalécio Carrasqueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Campelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With his leg Idalécio Carrasqueira managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Claudemiro Roriz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Atabueira's zone, Orlando Casaus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Idalécio Carrasqueira came out of the goal and Orlando Casaus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, SC Atabueira's Claudemiro Roriz got a free kick in the 91st minute. Guillermo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Idalécio Carrasqueira having to interfere.
