After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergej Bártů breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Sjödin in the 37th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viggo Hellsing, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The El Salvador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bantayan BK were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Yepes hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Viggo Hellsing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Bantayan BK's Ricardo Zorita threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sixten Wahlnäs, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 91 played minutes Bantayan BK got a freekick which was hit by Arvin Kling. Sergej Bártů showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Luque, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Moises Fernandino's late challenge caught a Bantayan BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Fernandino helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. The El Salvador fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bantayan BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
