In the 5th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 9th minute 孙鸿鹏 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 孙鸿鹏 in the 11th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 15th minute of play forced Carpasús FC - FDC's goalkeeper Oliveiro Gijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carpasús FC - FDC's Oliveiro Gijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 16th minute of play. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Carpasús FC - FDC's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliveiro Gijon came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Carpasús FC - FDC's Cugat Mendiola got a free kick in the 31st minute. 孙鸿鹏 in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Lacasa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A throw-in in the 40th minute of the game was made by Luca Rouco with Joel Gaona as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Oliveiro Gijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 42nd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Carpasús FC - FDC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liu Chao Bo to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 孙鸿鹏 in the 58th minute of play. Macos Graciani made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Joel Gaona however managed to control. Carpasús FC - FDC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Liu Chao Bo took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mexico's goalie and right to Cugat Mendiola. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mexico's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 65 minutes into the match, Carpasús FC - FDC's goalkeeper Oliveiro Gijon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. In the 68th minute, Lautaro Mancebo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oliveiro Gijon. The goal made the score 1-2. Carpasús FC - FDC's Xavieon Charro was substituted for Şakir Bilgen. 孙鸿鹏's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, 孙鸿鹏 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpasús FC - FDC's supporters rose to their feet, but 孙鸿鹏 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carpasús FC - FDC's Herbert Walmarsson was substituted for Ulryk Prosowski. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
