With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nemesio Cerilo saved pciclon from getting behind. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nemesio Cerilo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The throw-in from Hermínio Rossi in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Joaquin Prats. In the 44th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Nemesio Cerilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. pciclon's Nemesio Cerilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 55th minute of play. When Peru's Julian Murillo, in the 55th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Nemesio Cerilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 59th minute of play. Nemesio Cerilo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, pciclon's goalkeeper Nemesio Cerilo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. With a little luck, pciclon's Nemesio Cerilo got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermínio Rossi made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lisa Vara. pciclon's Nemesio Cerilo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save pciclon from getting a goal against them. After 85 played minutes pciclon got a freekick which was hit by Santo Normando. After a rather tough play, pciclon's Santo Normando got a free kick in the 87th minute. Nemesio Cerilo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 91st minute of play forced pciclon's goalkeeper Nemesio Cerilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Lucado kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
