When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Manchester Quijano got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Luken. Albino Berriotxoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 52nd minute of the match. Jovica Zeković had several of the Mexico's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Dante Lacasa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Albino Berriotxoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Manchester Quijano's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Albino Berriotxoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
