You Lang Zhi's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Peru booed when Dynamite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Mierzejewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lev Meskhi got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Klim Babanin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efim Abramov in the 95th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
