Acácio Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 16th minute of play. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Acácio Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 18th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Yoga Cura left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Pedro Ribeiro got a free kick in the 29th minute. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Mostovoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Zé Paulo Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Acácio Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yoga Cura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Betinho Falcão in the 42nd minute. Abraham Alguacil scored 2-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Acácio Gaspar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Alexander Mostovoi fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's protests and gave Alexander Mostovoi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Mostovoi to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yoga Cura made a kick off. With a little luck, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Acácio Gaspar got control of the ball when Isidoro Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoga Cura in the 56th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Panama booed when Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Tomas Berganza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Acácio Gaspar. That made the score 2-4 after 74 minutes of play. If Yoga Cura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87thth minute of the game Uriel Porfirio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Acácio Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
