In the 10th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Eanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafim Eanes made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafim Eanes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Beturian in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Guillermo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Fontirroig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafim Eanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th match minute, Dionisia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Xacintu to maneuver through the defense. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Beturian in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chile's Felix Garrido got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Arnaldo Beturian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Dionisia's Serafim Eanes. Serafim Eanes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dionisia's Florencio Chano was substituted for Denis Ereinotz.

After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Arnaldo Beturian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Arnaldo Beturian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafim Eanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Eanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chile's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Arnaldo Beturian scored to the left of an out of position Thiago Pliego, making the score, 3-1. Dionisia's Peng Sha Yang was substituted for Arnaldo Beturian. Dionisia's Serafim Eanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 66th minute of play. Serafim Eanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Casaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 72nd minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Eanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stanislovas Miškinis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafim Eanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Serafim Eanes came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 92nd minute, Gerardo Pozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute of the match Dionisia got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florencio Chano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Dionisia's Florencio Chano to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dionisia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
