Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off which started today's match. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Linares in the 2nd minute of play. In the 4th minute THANDERA® FCCMZ were awarded a corner. Lukas De Smet went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on THANDERA® FCCMZ's corner Eriberto Arósio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalkeeper Emanuel Van Hoeij, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 8th minute. Chile's Orlando Casaus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emanuel Van Hoeij in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alan Tamayo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THANDERA® FCCMZ's Emanuel Van Hoeij was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuel Van Hoeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Van Hoeij prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Claudinei Linares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudinei Linares in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thiago Pliego, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 29th match minute, THANDERA® FCCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Marques to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Van Hoeij made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Claudinei Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in THANDERA® FCCMZ's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Van Hoeij came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Claudinei Linares sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Van Hoeij took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of THANDERA® FCCMZ booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Pozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lukas De Smet. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute Marquinhos de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalkeeper Emanuel Van Hoeij, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, THANDERA® FCCMZ's Emanuel Van Hoeij got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo José da Mata took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Linares in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Claudinei Linares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Cássio Marques hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Emanuel Van Hoeij made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 71st minute. After 73 minutes of play, THANDERA® FCCMZ's Claudinei Linares made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the THANDERA® FCCMZ defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Van Hoeij. The THANDERA® FCCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Van Hoeij should have stopped the shot. Guillermo Fontirroig's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emanuel Van Hoeij firmly grabbed it by the left post. Emanuel Van Hoeij made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Van Hoeij narrowly saved just below the crossbar. THANDERA® FCCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Mariano Lacasa scored to the left of an out of position Emanuel Van Hoeij, making the score, 2-3. 90 minutes into the match, THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalkeeper Emanuel Van Hoeij had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 90thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THANDERA® FCCMZ's Emanuel Van Hoeij was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Emanuel Van Hoeij didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. 95 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Van Hoeij narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chile eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
