Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona made the kick off and thus started the match. The crowd rose to their feet as THANDERA® FCCMZ's Claudinei Linares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Van Hoeij having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Linares in the 12th minute of play. Emanuel Van Hoeij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Emanuel Van Hoeij took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Claudinei Linares made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Van Hoeij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Emanuel Van Hoeij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of the match. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Van Hoeij read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Linares in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th match minute, THANDERA® FCCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Proença to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 37th minute of play forced THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalkeeper Emanuel Van Hoeij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo José da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Albertinho Valadares hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos de Lara in the 52nd minute of play. Emanuel Van Hoeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Luca Rouco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. THANDERA® FCCMZ's Emanuel Van Hoeij proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save THANDERA® FCCMZ from getting a goal against them. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Facundo Cadaval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalkeeper Emanuel Van Hoeij had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. After having played for 70 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 76 minutes into the match, THANDERA® FCCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Emanuel Van Hoeij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Van Hoeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 78th minute of play. After 79 played minutes THANDERA® FCCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Silas Vasconcelos. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Van Hoeij breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Emanuel Van Hoeij threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by THANDERA® FCCMZ's Marquinhos de Lara. But to his dismay, Marquinhos de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Emanuel Van Hoeij however easily saved by the left post. In the 94th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emanuel Van Hoeij was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
