If Louis Lumb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Navarro hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When Conrado Stanislao fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Habsburgo's protests and gave Conrado Stanislao a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Habsburgo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colombia:s goal. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Sebastian Froylan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian Froylan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Froylan in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute Benjamin Orti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Habsburgo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. After 44 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Honorato Aznaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. Axel Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Honorato Aznaro came out and tried to block the shot, but Axel Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 51st minute. Honorato Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 56th minute of play. Honorato Aznaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 58th minute. Willian Pay took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Habsburgo's Honorato Aznaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Habsburgo from getting a goal against them. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willian Pay, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Honorato Aznaro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Mastache got free with Honorato Aznaro in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colombia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
