Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vasile Blănaru kicked off to start the match. Karol Czempa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 4th minute. Progresul Pitesti's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 5th minute Karol Czempa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Tudor saved Progresul Pitesti from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vasile Blănaru went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Vasile Blănaru took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 26th minute Karol Czempa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match, Karol Czempa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Czempa in the 30th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Progresul Pitesti's Karol Czempa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Czempa came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Progresul Pitesti's Ezkerra Villasana got a free kick in the 39th minute. Vasile Blănaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Mariano's late challenge caught a Progresul Pitesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Mariano helped the player get up and apologised. Progresul Pitesti's Florin Logofătu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Blănaru in the 51st minute of play. Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 53rd minute of play. In the 59th minute, Chorache Tofiño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute Karol Czempa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Guillermo Mariano off the ground. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Czempa, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Martin Tudor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 75 minutes, Vasile Blănaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Progresul Pitesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasile Blănaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Progresul Pitesti's Karol Czempa got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Czempa in the 79th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Vasile Blănaru notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Venezuela's Alex Chicote managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Timmie Deinse in the 88 minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Blănaru in the 90th minute of play. Ezkerra Villasana hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute Progresul Pitesti were awarded a corner. Florin Logofătu went to the cornerflag to take it. Progresul Pitesti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
