In the 14th minute, Elmar Lexbo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alfredo Aguilar. The goal made the score 1-1. With a little luck, Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar got control of the ball when Elmar Lexbo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tristan Nordlet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Haedo in the 20th minute of play. Tristan Nordlet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Haedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Club Olimpia were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Holmkjar Hotspurs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Fernando Duarte took the corner. The corner ended in Luís Fernando Duarte almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Holmkjar Hotspurs's Tristan Nordlet did a great save. Bent Streyder's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfredo Aguilar firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elmar Lexbo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Aguilar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmar Lexbo in the 30th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nelson Haedo to make the kick off. Tristan Nordlet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelson Haedo in the 62nd minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Nelson Haedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Olimpia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelson Haedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Nelson Haedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tristan Nordlet. That made the score 1-3 in the 82 minute of play. Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franck Lydicksen in the 87th minute of play. Nelson Haedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes in the game, Kalle Molnit dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Steinwart came free, but Alfredo Aguilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Makenhauer in the 97th minute of play. Although Holmkjar Hotspurs had been in control for most of the match, Club Olimpia still came away with the win.
