An unexpectedly hard shot by 杨鹰响 in the 76th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
