Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Stig Sjödin made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Bantayan BK's Torsten Forsell got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 8 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. A collision led to Bantayan BK getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Sture Biörkman hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergej Bártů. Bantayan BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Noboa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 16th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Harald Wikander tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Bantayan BK's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Viggo Hellsing, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig Sjödin went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Harald Wikander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 3-1 in the 29 minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Egon Hääger could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. In the 41st minute, Torsten Forsell fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 42nd minute, Stig Sjödin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 4-1. Harald Wikander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Sjödin in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Stig Sjödin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bantayan BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 65th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Hellsing in the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 71st minute. Stig Sjödin took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Sergej Bártů showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 76th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Sjödin in the 78th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Aaron Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Bantayan BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 79 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. In the 80th minute Sixten Wahlnäs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. Lautaro Puig scored 6-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergej Bártů, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stig Sjödin scored 7-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bantayan BK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
