Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Maletz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mechanical Animals's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Maletz came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Mechanical Animals's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Jonas Maletz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johann Hassel in the 12th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mechanical Animals's Omiros Kazanis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Sieberichs in the 17th minute of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Maletz having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Hubert Sieberichs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hubert Sieberichs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Mechanical Animals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Klinkhammer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes Mechanical Animals got a freekick which was hit by Julien Ramusch. Tomas Illescas scored 3-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Maletz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Sieberichs, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Teobald Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Hubert Sieberichs made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Hubert Sieberichs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hubert Sieberichs came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Mechanical Animals fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hubert Sieberichs couldn't finish the play. Omiros Kazanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match Julien Ramusch sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Mechanical Animals's Jonas Maletz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 63rd minute of play. When Teobald Lewandowski came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Mechanical Animals fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobald Lewandowski couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johann Hassel in the 72nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mechanical Animals's goalkeeper Jonas Maletz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hubert Sieberichs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Johann Hassel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Maletz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mechanical Animals's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
