When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paraskevas Spelas made a kick off. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but 史旭林 made a huge save. Paraskevas Spelas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paraskevas Spelas in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paraskevas Spelas in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paraskevas Spelas in the 61st minute of the match.
