The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli. Ferenc Tököli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 10 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Damián Alcazar made a great header on Rapsodas Red Devils FC's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. A collision led to Rapsodas Red Devils FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Marcus Olsson hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Chile's Mariano Lacasa tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Salah in the 66th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferenc Tököli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Salah in the 74th minute of the match. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 78th minute of play. Ferenc Tököli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Salah in the 81st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rapsodas Red Devils FC's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferenc Tököli came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 88 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Herminio Miera who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Chile's goalie and right to Leonardo Colmenares. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Chile's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92nd match minute, Rapsodas Red Devils FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Camus to maneuver through the defense.
