Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Antonio Bernard got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Bernard in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Oxarra in the 5th minute of play. Erasmo Oxarra struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TALLERES DE CBA. Lucio Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The supporters of Honduras booed when TALLERES DE CBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Fidensio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Oxarra in the 28th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes, TALLERES DE CBA's Osvaldo Tano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TALLERES DE CBA reached it. In the 37th minute, Antonio Bernard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Oxarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. TALLERES DE CBA's Lucio Afonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save TALLERES DE CBA from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. When Erasmo Oxarra came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the TALLERES DE CBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Oxarra couldn't finish the play. After having played for 57 minutes, Erasmo Oxarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TALLERES DE CBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Oxarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Bernard took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 68th minute, TALLERES DE CBA's Erasmo Oxarra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Honduras's Luca Espinar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rolando Fidensio in the 73 minute of the game. In the last second Lautaro Navarro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Erasmo Oxarra in the 74thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Antonio Bernard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Erasmo Oxarra came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the TALLERES DE CBA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Oxarra couldn't finish the play. TALLERES DE CBA's Erasmo Oxarra was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Oxarra in the 92nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Antonio Bernard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Bernard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. TALLERES DE CBA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
