Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Dênis Marques came free with the goalkeeper in the 2nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bai Kun Yang in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bai Kun Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute of the match, Bai Kun Yang tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Piotr Rybak scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Voyager Soccer Team getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jefferson do Valle hit a great ball. Waldemar Quintal came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Emil Belu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Alberto Tafalla sped through Voyager Soccer Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Waldemar Quintal. In the 22nd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Voyager Soccer Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. With an all-out effort, Voyager Soccer Team's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Piotr Rybak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piotr Rybak in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Voyager Soccer Team's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Waldemar Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 38th minute of play forced Voyager Soccer Team's goalkeeper Waldemar Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Quintal having to interfere. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Dênis Marques reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bai Kun Yang was the one to do the kick off. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Rybak in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Voyager Soccer Team booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute Dênis Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Jefferson do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Waldemar Quintal made a huge save. Waldemar Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 77th minute of play. Voyager Soccer Team's Cícero Leite was substituted for Alfred Owsiak. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 79th minute. With a little luck, Voyager Soccer Team's Waldemar Quintal got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 88th minute of play forced Voyager Soccer Team's goalkeeper Waldemar Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Voyager Soccer Team getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gerson da Cunha hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Joel Gaona put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Waldemar Quintal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
