Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alexander Bottone made the kick off which started today's match. Olivér Bierhoff hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Cristiano Paolucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by A.S. Udinese's Alexander Bottone. But to his dismay, Alexander Bottone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Cristiano Paolucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A.S. Udinese's Alvaro Rotili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Abram Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After having played for 24 minutes, Abram Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abram Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Bottone came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Bottone went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the game, Alexander Bottone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvaro Rotili was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Axel Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 46 minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

A.S. Udinese's Bruno Maranzano was substituted for Augusto Clemente. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Rotili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abram Sarmiento hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Bottone in the 60th minute of play. Alvaro Rotili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of A.S. Udinese booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. A.S. Udinese's Ercole Fiorentino was substituted for Alexander Bottone. In the 70th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ercole Fiorentino in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A.S. Udinese were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristiano Paolucci took the corner. The corner ended in Cristiano Paolucci almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 89th minute of play forced A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Alvaro Rotili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Colombia's Abram Secada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvaro Rotili made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Alvaro Rotili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 95th minute of the match. Ignacio Mastache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
