Marseille's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihail Toader was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Cyrille Melon made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyrille Melon in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Freixa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrille Melon, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 27th minute, Cyrille Melon made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 32nd minute Cyrille Melon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Toader came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Chicote hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Gallo. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihail Toader's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The supporters of Bolivia booed when R.C. Marseille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxence Demay didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cyrille Melon made a kick off. Cyprien Auguste scored 0-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mihail Toader scored 0-5 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 66 minutes into the game, R.C. Marseille's Cyrille Melon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Freixa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyrille Melon got free with Camilo Freixa in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bolivia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Djibril Mourot scored to the left of an out of position Camilo Freixa, making the score, 0-7. Djibril Mourot's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Camilo Freixa firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Cyrille Melon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Cyrille Melon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Djibril Mourot got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cyrille Melon in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Camilo Freixa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Maxence Demay kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cyrille Melon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Djibril Mourot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save. After 93 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. In the 95th minute, Bolivia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cyrille Melon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cyrille Melon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Camilo Freixa made a huge save.
