A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Cristian Papo hit a great ball. In the 4th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Ismael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandros Ismael was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Beltran. In the 20th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 26th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Alexandros Ismael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Galeno came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Jacinto Galeno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Águilas Poblanas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Águilas Poblanas's Alexandros Ismael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 37th minute of play. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Águilas Poblanas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Alexandros Ismael despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alexandros Ismael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Cristian Papo kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Águilas Poblanas made a substitution. Carlo Ciolli replaced Tao Cheng Han. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Cristian Papo hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto Galeno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eusebio Beltran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Águilas Poblanas's Epifanio Intxixu was substituted for Ciro Matai. Macos Graciani made in the 62nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joel Gaona. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandros Ismael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandros Ismael came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. A hard shot by Joel Gaona from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Alexandros Ismael's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 77th minute, Jacinto Galeno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Cenk Yılğıralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Victor Macias hit a great ball. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
