An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of play forced TAXI-MM-'s goalkeeper Martin Alexa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuan Di Xing in the 21st minute. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after TAXI-MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that TAXI-MM-'s Martin Alexa managed to reach the ball for a save. TAXI-MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Alexa having to interfere. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Yuan Di Xing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Alexa having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Pedro Celipe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TAXI-MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Pedro Celipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of TAXI-MM- booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. TAXI-MM-'s Pedro Celipe got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Pedro Celipe off the ground. The supporters of Mexico booed when TAXI-MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Celipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Joel Gaona couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for TAXI-MM-. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. TAXI-MM- had won after a very even match.
