When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 4 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Péter Temesvári made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Péter Temesvári didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Mátyás Vadas's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mátyás Vadas helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play forced Szittyák SE rege's goalkeeper Péter Temesvári to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Péter Temesvári. Szittyák SE rege's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Péter Temesvári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szittyák SE rege's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Szittyák SE rege's Péter Temesvári played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play. The Szittyák SE rege players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Szittyák SE rege's goalkeeper Péter Temesvári, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Péter Temesvári made a huge save. In the 65th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Juan Sebastián Puig drilling the ball in to score 0-8 behind Szittyák SE rege's goalkeeper. 68 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Péter Temesvári, 0-9. 72 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Péter Temesvári breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 89th minute of play forced Szittyák SE rege's goalkeeper Péter Temesvári to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
