With a little luck, Tio Cosme FC's Yu Kun got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yu Kun made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Tio Cosme FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Luca Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yu Kun quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Luca Zorita put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Yu Kun. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match Tio Cosme FC got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nereo Fernanco ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Victorino Gonzalez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Facundo Cadaval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yu Kun having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Gonzalez in the 35th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Yazıcı in the 37th minute of the match. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Hitzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yusuf Yazıcı to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Mexico booed when Tio Cosme FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Oriol didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Yu Kun. Tio Cosme FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Yu Kun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 70th minute of the match. Casimiro Abeitia kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Tio Cosme FC made a substitution. Maximino Romero replaced Yusuf Yazıcı. Luca Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
