With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Olympique Deleon getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Abelardo Galvão hit a great ball. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jeremias Correia in the 89 minute of the game. Yuri Jacinto succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. In the 94th minute, Yuri Jacinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of Olympique Deleon booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Olympique Deleon could leave the field as winners, despite Paraguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
