In the 10th minute of the match, Luz Tejedor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jan Basaik saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Klucznik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derman Cruchet in the 18th minute of play. Jan Basaik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Jan Basaik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derman Cruchet in the 30th minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Basaik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Wlodzimierz Klucznik reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 0-2. Jan Basaik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Basaik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Basaik. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ made a substitution. Rolando Noboa was a little too slow when Ale Glowacz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-3. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Basaik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. 86 minutes into the game, Niculae Ghionea threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Milagros Fraga quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jan Basaik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute of play forced KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Jan Basaik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Eliseo Mina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jan Basaik quite easily take care of the ball. The KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
