The referee gave Abasto fútbol club a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Virgilio Pinto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. 1-0. Abasto fútbol club's Angelino Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Burgos in the 15th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Abasto fútbol club's Alex Burgos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Eskil Lindblom kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Orlando Tafalla with Santino Seco as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Alex Burgos notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Virgilio Pinto hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Angelino Roldan made a huge save. Abram Secada's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Angelino Roldan firmly grabbed it by the left post. 91 minutes into the match, Norberto Tiadoro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto Tiadoro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Abasto fútbol club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
