Acácio Vasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 8 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Acácio Vasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Ibis Football Club's Felipe Gaúcho got a free kick in the 11th minute. Eurico Peixoto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Ibis Football Club were awarded a corner. Felipe Gaúcho went to the cornerflag to take it. 19 minutes into the match, Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eurico Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Peixoto in the 23rd minute of play. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Eurico Peixoto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-2. Eurico Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Ibis Football Club's Acácio Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ibis Football Club's Acácio Vasco. Acácio Vasco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Acácio Vasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eurico Peixoto hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Hílton Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 minutes Ibis Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The Ibis Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eurico Peixoto to make the kick off. With a little luck, Ibis Football Club's Acácio Vasco got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute Eurico Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Acácio Vasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 62 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Acácio Vasco. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Acácio Vasco made a huge save. 69 minutes into the match, Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 70 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Gaúcho who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Felipe Gaúcho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Peixoto came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ibis Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 79 minutes into the match, Eurico Peixoto notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Vasco having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute of play forced Ibis Football Club's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ibis Football Club's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio Vasco came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ibis Football Club getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Mao Yu hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Acácio Vasco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Acácio Vasco made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. The Ibis Football Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
