Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Alex Chicote was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibis Football Club the free kick. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Peixoto came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eurico Peixoto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eurico Peixoto in the 25th minute. When Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Mina during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ibis Football Club:s goal. Felipe Gaúcho shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 40 minutes into the match, Juan Bermund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Bermund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Bermund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 64 minutes Ibis Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. In the 64th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Secada to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Ibis Football Club's Juan Bermund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Bermund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Bermund came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Bermund in the 90th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ibis Football Club were victorious despite being under pressure from Venezuela for much of the match.
