Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Panait Moșneanu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 2 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dimitris Charalambopoulos. FC Panat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 6th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Charalambopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Charalambopoulos having to interfere. Dimitris Charalambopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of the match. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Manuel Drăgănoiu. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Dimitris Charalambopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Iorgu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. In the 21st minute of the match Gică Comșa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dimitris Charalambopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dimitris Charalambopoulos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Panait Moșneanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Panait Moșneanu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 26th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Panat's Dimitris Charalambopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Dimitris Charalambopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, FC Panat's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Dimitris Charalambopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dimitris Charalambopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Iorgu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Dimitris Charalambopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, FC Panat's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Dimitris Charalambopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panait Moșneanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After 75 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Moșneanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Panat's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Suat Okman in the 77th minute. A nice corner shot did that Suat Okman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dacian Iorgu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitris Charalambopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Cezar Bourceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Panat.
