Thanks to some nice moves Laffitte Sanes could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Cazorla was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AC Guadalajara fully deserved thier win.
