Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ilie Velicu made the kick off and thus started the match. Lautaro Puig took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Barbosu. Călin Barbosu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cazimir Traian charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cazimir Traian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Costa Rica made a substitution. Alfredo Zoido replaced Eliseo Noboa. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Traian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Rubio made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aaron Alcocer immediately put the ball in play. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Călin Barbosu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Raureni Academy's Călin Barbosu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 21st minute of play. The throw-in from Abel Carballo in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Raureni Academy's Cazimir Traian. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Călin Barbosu saved Raureni Academy from getting behind. Alfredo Zoido took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Barbosu. Călin Barbosu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Abel Carballo made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Raureni Academy's Cazimir Traian. After some careless play in the Raureni Academy defense, Alfredo Zoido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Călin Barbosu. The Raureni Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Călin Barbosu should have stopped the shot. After the first half Costa Rica were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Hugo Ferrant got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lautaro Puig. Axel Tasis took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Barbosu. Călin Barbosu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionel Budulea in the 60th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredo Zoido kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Călin Barbosu. That made the score 0-5 in the 62 minute of play. Călin Barbosu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 66th minute of play. Codruț Giurcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raureni Academy's Mugur Muscă quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juan Rubio, made in the 73rd minute of the game. Mugur Muscă struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raureni Academy. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Raureni Academy's Marin Puric. In the 85th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Raureni Academy's Cazimir Traian managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 89 minute of the game. In the 91st minute of the game Juan Rubio made a throw-in which Lautaro Puig played forward. 92 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Călin Barbosu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. 94 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Raureni Academy's Cazimir Traian quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The Costa Rica supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Costa Rica would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
