In the 9th minute of the match, Jose Eduino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Eduino in the 9th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Lars-Erik Angvik threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 16 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Skjold's goalkeeper Johnni Kirkskov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. BK Skjold were furious when Dumitru Tutorskiy was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BK Skjold! Jose Eduino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnni Kirkskov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 40th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnni Kirkskov having to interfere. BK Skjold made a substitution. Casimiro Gines replaced Jaime Shantala. 57 minutes in the game Lars-Erik Angvik did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Genaro Procopio. A collision led to BK Skjold getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jiang Wei Zhen hit a great ball. Luz Tejedor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Johnni Kirkskov. BK Skjold's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Procopio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Skjold's goalkeeper Johnni Kirkskov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Casimiro Gines kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Nicko Vadmann made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Genaro Procopio might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genaro Procopio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnni Kirkskov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Rafael Gallo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Johnni Kirkskov. That made the score 0-4 after 90 minutes of play. Nicko Vadmann made in the 94th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Genaro Procopio however managed to control. The BK Skjold supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
