Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sven-Oskar Åhman kicked off to start the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Kielstedt in the 7th minute of play. Emil Wahlström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. Sven-Oskar Åhman made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 17thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Julio Vera would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 20th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Oskar Åhman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Emil Wahlström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play. Sven-Oskar Åhman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Wahlström having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Oskar Åhman got free with Julio Vera in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Wahlström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Tomas Kielstedt heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Hogans Heroes's Emil Wahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Tomas Kielstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Hogans Heroes's Bright Morningstar got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Sven-Oskar Åhman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Kielstedt in the 58th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bright Morningstar in the 60th minute of play. Hogans Heroes's Emil Wahlström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Hogans Heroes from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Wahlström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Emil Wahlström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 73 minutes into the match, Sven-Oskar Åhman notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Wahlström having to make a save. Emil Wahlström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Oskar Åhman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Oskar Åhman in the 83rd minute of play. Emil Wahlström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emil Wahlström came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 88th minute. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Tomas Kielstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Bright Morningstar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Hogans Heroes were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
