With a little luck, Ñacuñán AC's Raul Lipp got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Ñacuñán AC's goalkeeper Raul Lipp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Lipp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Raul Lipp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 11th minute. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Ekain in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Guib in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. In the 31st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Lipp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Lipp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 34th minute. Raul Lipp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Orlando Casaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Lipp having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Raul Lipp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 71 played minutes Ñacuñán AC got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Ekain. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Ekain in the 73rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hector Fero was slow to take the kick. During this time Ñacuñán AC's players had a chance to rest. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raul Lipp having to make a save. In the 83rd minute, Orlando Casaus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Lipp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 85th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Cayo in the 86th minute of the match. Santos Cayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Lipp was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Chile were the better team. Chile's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
