In the 10th minute, Ronaldo Fenomeno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. The goal made the score 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Fenomeno got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Fenomeno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. Ronaldo Fenomeno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After 21 minutes of play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdulkadir Eraslan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abdulkadir Eraslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 24th minute of the match. Ronaldo Fenomeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Miau Stars were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Palmer Akers took the corner. Egídio I was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 4-1 after 39 minutes of play. When Edmílson Arantes came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Miau Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Arantes couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Gayoso was a little too slow when Ronaldo Fenomeno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 5-1. Abdulkadir Eraslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 54 minutes, Edmílson Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miau Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmílson Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Fenomeno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 63 minutes into the game, Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. The supporters of Miau Stars booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sainz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miau Stars made a substitution. Marco Veremundo replaced Palmer Akers. Miau Stars made a substitution. Anton Bröms replaced Olavo Mota. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Miau Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio I didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Fenomeno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Fenomeno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. After having played for 89 minutes, Ronaldo Fenomeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miau Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Fenomeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Seco in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abdulkadir Eraslan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
