Igor Siekierski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Siekierski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The corner ended in Cristian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Brow Team's Igor Siekierski did a great save. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Siekierski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 34 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Czeslaw Tipinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogumil Wawro in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Brow Team's Igor Siekierski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Arias in the 40th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. Brow Team's Franciszek Modliszewski was substituted for Bogumil Wawro. Brow Team made a substitution. Kryspin Owsiak replaced Jerzy Ciempa. In the 49th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After 57 played minutes Brow Team got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Mroczynski. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Igor Siekierski made a huge save. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Cichocki in the 85th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Agustín Saelices fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Agustín Saelices a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Brow Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Franciszek Modliszewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Sebastián Puig's late challenge caught a Brow Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Sebastián Puig helped the player get up and apologised.
