Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Onur Candar notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 12 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ the free kick. Onur Candar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Metin Ceyhan lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! kaya Tublek came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Axel Tasis. But to his dismay, Axel Tasis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selmi Oral didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Selmi Oral came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selmi Oral couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Onur Candar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Selmi Oral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Onur Candar made the kick off in the second half. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Onur Candar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Onur Candar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 69th minute. KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ's Birol Nezih couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Costa Rica. In the 74th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birol Nezih recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Onur Candar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. If Onur Candar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selmi Oral in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Birol Nezih ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 87th match minute, KARTALSPOR KULÜBÜ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuz Mengüer to maneuver through the defense. kaya Tublek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
